My MGB GT Restoration, part IV: Eventually, the fun part begins

The BGT takes shape! What I have done so far is fitting the doors, polishing the underside of the car and removing scratches on the chassis legs etc. during the transport from paint shop to my garage

Great colour for a great car. The blackfoot green fits the GT's beautiful lines very well. The tone is actually a bit darker than it looks on these photos

Engine bay painted in surface quality screems to be detailed nicely, and it will. Good working place for the hot 4-cyl. engine that's going to be installed here

Open the drivers' door and blast away. Unfortunately not yet... The plastic sheet on the floor prevents the rust-proofing wax to make a mess of the carpet. Actually my MG has a large carpet underneath for comfort reasons (my comfort when lying under the car!)
Can't wait to fit boot lid, new rear lights and bumpers. This is the fun part of the restoration...

Most of the panels you can see on this shot are brand new. The underbody will receive a light coat of transparent wax for protection
